Ucheongok’s Commitment to Quality

The name ‘Ucheongok’ was created with a heartfelt wish for our guests to stay youthful and healthy through our Hanwoo (Korean beef) bone soup. The name combines the characters for Cow (牛), Youthful Blue (靑), and House (屋). Furthermore, it also carries the meaning of ‘A House that Invites Friends,’ using the characters for Friend (友), Invite (請), and House (屋).

Since our soup promises vitality, wouldn't you want to invite your beloved friends, partners, family, and business associates to share a meal at Ucheongok? This is the very reason we pour our utmost sincerity into crafting every dish.

At Ucheongok, we take the difficult but honest path of simmering Hanwoo leg bones in a traditional cauldron right here at the restaurant for 8 hours to create our signature broth. We never use artificial seasonings, powders, or additives for flavor or color. Our broth is gentle on the body and remains soul-warming, even when enjoyed every day.
